Favourite GAB members?

Post by Axe »

The support I've received in the fitness thread got me to thinking about how cool many men on this forum are.

I wanted to give a shout out to a few of them...

Sasquatch because he makes me laugh like a motherfucker.

Benjamin because he's always got time to offer support and advice when I post my clips. Dude's funny as shit too.

Raf for taking the time to post his clips and show people what can be accomplished with different gear.

sleewell because he's always got something good and/or interesting to say in my threads. Plus, he's a fellow Kemper owner!

Loop because, well, he's Loop.

And, of course, Billy for making the whole thing possible.

I'm sure I missed some of my favourite members, but this was just off the top of my head.

Anyway, CSB and all that.

thanks for all your help with the kpa Axe, has been a great purchase so far and i know i am just grazing the surface on what it can do. when i play it i go downstairs saying i am going to try to figure more stuff out but then I just spend my time playing guitar bc it just sounds so good.

Just about everyone who's a regular poster. Everyone has a lil something to bring to the table.

*looks around, realizes this is a circle jerk thread*

*posts anyway* :cop:

#1 kudos to Billy, obviously, without whom I probably wouldn't be posting to any musician boards at all right now, except once or twice a week to the Boogie Boards.

This place is just about the perfect ratio of learning to lulz to off-topic bullshit for my tastes. :thu:

Beyond that, I'm just really thrilled at the cross section of people who've shown up here. Older guys, younger guys; monster players, relative n00bs; guys with shitloads of awesome gear, minimalist skinflints like myself; players in a wide variety of genres.

Leaving aside anyone who's my FB or IRL friend, I was really pleased at all the support and advice I got in my string of Telecaster-related threads last month. Like, it was legitimately helpful and helped me decide how and where to spend what was, for me at least, a decent chunk of change.
"If there was only a way that I couldn't even any less than I already can't then I'd gladly not, but I think I've entered some quantum paradox, dark matter levels of can't evening where the total absolute value of not evenness exceeds all ability to explain the can'ting." - MR RUBATO
