Wow, cool.
Kind of impressive!

Didn't play all weekend since I finished the DLC. Planning on running it again with my bro-in-law whenever he has time.
Otherwise, yeah, I'll let you know when I can farm with ya.

I found the last boss kinda easy actually... I used the Bee and Sandhawk combo as well as the Magic Missile grenade mod to slag them, between that and Zero's Kunai which once I get on target could give the 20% bonus damage I find he goes down pretty easily, the Red version of the sorcerer is probably the hardest since he kinda flies randomly up and down which makes him hard to hit with the sandhawk since the bullets are pretty slow plus spawns the dragons and basilisks which make it hard to keep the Bee fully charged so you need to try and do as much damage to him as soon as he spawns.

for boss fights IMO a bee is a necessity and it makes regular game play that much easier. I got really lucky that when I joined some random game online a while back some player did a massive loot dump and left a butt load of lvl61 inflammable bees on the floor! before that I did UVHM with my lvl50 bee and it was HARD!!! it helped, but not much when I was dealing with lvl61 enemies. Once I got the lvl61 bee and the sandhawk I was good to go and things got even better when I recently respec'd Zero, basically removing the melee boosts and going full out gun based.. I thought Zero was powerful before, now he's a beast.

FYI, the DLC is on sale on xbox marketplace. If you're like me and preordered the game (and therefore got a little of the DLC with it) but didn't buy the season pass, the current sale price of what's left to download is less than the season pass.

Still waiting to play the 4th DLC with my bro-in-law......hopefully tomorrow night.

Otherwise, I just started up a Lilith in BL1.

For some reason BL2 doesn't compel me to play over and over like BL1 does.
(I suppose, I've been playing BL2 since release and am burnt out)

hell yeah I'm burnt out lol.... taking two characters through the game and not just leveling them up through online play was enough to burn me out, I've played the game through 5 times now and I have little or no desire to do that again... right now the ONLY reason I'm considering doing another play though with my Mechromancer is so I can solo Terra... in UVHM Terra solo with Zero is stupid hard...

I'll probably play through the DLC again, and then be done for a while. long while.....unless new stuff comes out.
Probably keep playing BL1 again......mix in some Gears of War 3 and Bioshock Infinite.

Terra is easier with Gaige?

Terra is a EASY with Gaige... what I would do is kill all the bad guys in Thousand Cuts first, get my Anarchy stacks up to 150 minimum. Once you do that and use a sandhawk and bee shield combo Terra goes down pretty easy... you can still die but I would farm him 3-4 times before I would get taken out... but after 3-4 times it gets boring... dunno how people just keep doing it over and over and over.... The only problem I would have is getting lvl61 gear for Gaige lol... I have in my Zero I could transfer that would work great with her, i.e. electric stuff... but some essentials like a norfleet and bee shield will have to be farmed or traded... and when I think of that I just don't feel like doing it lol

I hate that I try to do playthroughs with friends but we can never finish them. It was hard enough around Sept & Oct of last year, I'm not entirely certain I've actually finished every mission there is to do in the 2nd half of the game, but just by advancing my character through everyone else's game, I killed Jack and all that.

But up to the point of Sanctuary taking off and getting back to it again? I've done that probably a dozen times or more and am gonna scream if I gotta play the first half of the game one more time.

this.... I think if I plan on doing a 3rd character to level them up I'll just load them in the player 2 slot and kill Pryo Pete or some other boss a bunch of times so they can the XP...

don't know if any of you guys caught the announcements made last week but it seems there will be more DLC soon as well as they are kicking up the level cap to 72. Not sure how I feel about this since it took me long enough to get all my gear replaced for level 61 but the added game play should be cool.. more raid bosses etc

Here's what sucks about Borderlands and Borderlands 2 in my household.

The wife loves the series (not as much as the Half Life series) and I get to have the luxury of playing the games twice.

Yep, once on my computer and the second time on hers. Bad thing is that I'm the sniper on my machine and she wants to be the commando guy on hers. Do you know how annoying it is playing everything over and over, cause she wants her character to be bad ass?

Talk about the feeling of grinding

My son is playing Boderlands 2 right now on Xbox live with his "girlfriend" (they are both 12). Who knew playing video games would such a great way to hang out with girls!

What the hell is up with the save game feature that isn't a feature at all. You save the game, and you go back into it later and you go way back to the fucking beginning. I hate it. Makes the game unplayable. Especially when you can only play for 20 minutes at a time.

so... I Gibbed my Mechromancer from level 50 to 61.... I feel so dirty lol... I have to say a lvl 61 Mechromancer can be a serious tank! and I've noticed that legendaries are WAY more common all of a sudden, I started over the game in UVHM with the Mech. I've gotten at least 3-4 legendaries and I've only finished the main story and the Captain Scarlet DLC, just started the Torque DLC...

going from 50 to 61 isn't that bad on the cheater scale of dirtiness. :thu:
If BL2, was set up better, more balanced and more fun to re-play (like BL1)............I probably wouldn't have gibbed either.
I still like BL2, but I doubt I'll replay it like I do BL1.
You still have to play through the story, and enemies are all 61(+).....so it's not all that much easier. Only benefit is you get all of your skill points.
no worries. It's rare that any player hasn't dupped weapons/cash/etc....., gibbed or some sort of thing to get a small advantage in BL2 (usually after already playing through legitly)

I played a bit Friday night, but didn't see much for drops in Tiny Tina's DLC.
I've always wondered if they are still tweaking stuff or not?

I got NO drops during the missions in Tiny Tina except for fighting the Handsome Sorcerer at the end who is a pretty easy farm and tends to drop Legandaries fairly often.. I did however get the rarer Magic Missile Grenade Mod that shoots out 4 projectiles instead of two, that Grenade Mod + Zero = Destruction! But other than the thrill of getting a Legendary I kept nothing... the only two items I've kept from that entire DLC was the Magic Missile Grenade Mod and the Moxy machine gun

Well, I'm officially taking a break from BL2. :(

I can't bring myself to play it for more than 30 mins.

I started Bioshock Infinite again the other day.........but have been playing BL1 again for the most part. :cop:
Got Lilith up to lvl 27 now.

I have to admit... I haven't played BL2 for ages. I want to, but I keep stopping when I go to put the game in.

yup. :(

I wish they hadn't changed the mechanics of the game so much. BL1 was near perfect....while a bit janky sometimes, they shouldn't have strayed so much from the original formula.
BL2 would have been legendary had they kept all the good parts of BL1 in the game.

BL1 for me is sit down, BAM 2 hours gone.
Never felt the need to mod my game.

BL2 is more like........load up game.........ah, fuck.......I hate this part. beat one part and quit.
After 2 legit playthrus, mod the fuck out of the rest of my characters.

I'm still having fun for now, playing through the main stories of main game and DLCs with my mechromancer... just have the Tiny Tina one left to do... other than that it's farming Pyro Caustic Pete... I have left all the side missions open for my mechro though.. so.. might go back and push through a few for the lulz if I feel to... but... I need a new game soon lol

This. I picked up 'remember me' in the hopes that it would be rather interesting. I didn't find this to be the case... a shame because it has a lot of potential.
