Jesus Christ, I'm glad you quit drinking. This world's a cooler place with you in it for the long(er) haul.

I dont drink much but someone gave me some jager and red bull,it was tasty and was a slightly weird manic buzz.
In related news i was stunned to see that there is something called Adult Chocolate Milk thats 40 proof something. Im not sure what to think of that.

I'll post a "Nerd Weekend" thread with regular updates. Basically, it will be 100 guys playing Warhammer and drinking all weekend. We also stay at the hotel where the event is held so no one has to drive. Shit will get real.
Why can't cool things like this happen by me?

Oh, cause I live in central Illinois.

Looking forward to updates!

Kraken, yarb? Kraken and I used to be the bestest of friends. Until he left me laid out a few times. The last one I was singing Locust into the big metal bowl we refer to as the Puke Pot in our house in between sprees of vomitting, and calling the puke pot a cool guy that contains shit and doesn't afraid.
Consequently, Kraken and I are no longer friends. Had we remained so I was afraid he was attempting to steal my wife along with my dignity. Dignity means little to me so no huge loss, but you gotta watch your shit around my wife.

Its mildly disturbing you have a "puke pot" however. Smart, but...umm, disturbing.

There is much more to that story, but I believe I've already told most of it. We party hard in domesticland.

Puke Pot was named when we were legit sick with the flu. "Pass me the Puke Pot," was the battle cry. It stuck.
Don't besmirch Puke Pot. Puke Pot's a cool guy. Eh contains shit and doesn't afraid of anything.

yeah. Fell off the wagon a couple times, but hopped right back on. If not for my wife, I'd be dead.
not to mention, I feel physically better, and don't shake all the time. A friend of mine used to joke that the COC song "shake like you" made him think of me with the DT's all the time.
I won't lie, I miss playing my guitar while being magnum drunked up

bleh
I drank an entire bottle of that one night. Straight, on the rocks one glass at a time. Never again.

Re: Jack Daniels Honey Whiskey
Tried the Honey Beam.
Shit's gold. Truly the perfect balance of sweet for a honey liquor, plus that Beam burn.
I was back and forthing it with Devil's Cut and they really make an interesting pair. So interesting I may have had a touch more than I should have on a school night. Woke up with a very slight headache, which is not something I get on Devil's Cut alone.
Still, I can now officially declare Jim Beam Honey > Honey Jack. By a lot.

That movie "Poor White Trash" (Jamie Pressley yumminess) was filmed over there & hit the Southern Illinois stereotype to a T lol.
Farthest Ive been up there is Greenville. Someday I wanna get on a train & ride to Chicago & check it out.

Problem: Dry town
Solution: Liquor store literally on the other side of the town line.

Yup. I also lost my shoes that night and ended up walking about 1.5 miles in my socks. Most of the path was paved but the last few blocks were gravel. When I woke up the next day the socks were gone and I was left with what looked liked a sweat band around each ankle.
