I used to like that Evan Williams Honey Whiskey dumped in a good strong cup of black coffee. Made a great breakfast on days I didn't have to work. A Xanax washed down with it as well. Always was a good start for a day I planner on drinking most of the day. If I felt like hell already, I'd throw a BC headache powder in for good measure ha ha.

Jesus Christ, I'm glad you quit drinking. This world's a cooler place with you in it for the long(er) haul.

Spending the weekend at a hotel with about 100 other nerds so there is bound to be some serious drinking going on. I will be bringing the honey whiskey and some Kraken spiced rum. I can't wait to see what everyone else brings to the liquor "swap meet."

I'll post a "Nerd Weekend" thread with regular updates. Basically, it will be 100 guys playing Warhammer and drinking all weekend. We also stay at the hotel where the event is held so no one has to drive. Shit will get real.

Why can't cool things like this happen by me?

Tried the Honey Beam. Shit's gold. Truly the perfect balance of sweet for a honey liquor, plus that Beam burn. I was back and forthing it with Devil's Cut and they really make an interesting pair. So interesting I may have had a touch more than I should have on a school night. Woke up with a very slight headache, which is not something I get on Devil's Cut alone.

Still, I can now officially declare Jim Beam Honey > Honey Jack. By a lot.

lol. True. Aint shit over in SIL, aside Carbondale, and Im too old for that shit now. Im in west Ky, but just 5 min from Illinois. Dated alot of girls from over there, and ran around alot over there when I was younger.

That movie "Poor White Trash" (Jamie Pressley yumminess) was filmed over there & hit the Southern Illinois stereotype to a T lol.

Farthest Ive been up there is Greenville. Someday I wanna get on a train & ride to Chicago & check it out.

Yup. I also lost my shoes that night and ended up walking about 1.5 miles in my socks. Most of the path was paved but the last few blocks were gravel. When I woke up the next day the socks were gone and I was left with what looked liked a sweat band around each ankle.
