Reamping straight out of my pro 40 isn't working out. Anyone got recommendations for a cheap reamping box? Active preferred I guess but if a passive one works well then that's fine.

I have a Radial, forget which model, it was $99. It works great.
For some reason it inverts the phase, and I have switch it back in the DAW.

Ta, I'll check it out. I may see if I can nab a passive DI box from a friend and run it backwards as that apparently works quite well.

I did that with a DI for a while. You should put a pad inline after the DI. It also require an adapter to hook up to your interface. It works good though.

I've been looking at that. Thanks for the recommendation.

I've managed to get a hold of a DI box from a friend to try later.

My friend had a Palmer daccapo he let me borrow too. I'll do a DI shootout with both of them later in the week.

Predictably I don't have quite the right cable for this and my local guitar store sucks all the ass for this kind of thing. One is on order.

Yeah, because your running the DI in reverse of how it's normally used, you need an adapter.

I was sure I had a trs to male XLR for the reamp box as my old bands PA used them to connect the mixer. Oh well, should have some before the week is out.

If your using the DI to reamp running tracks in the DAW to your amp, you need TRS to female XLR.

This is for the Palmer reamp box I've borrowed. I'm probably just gonna pick one of those up as they go cheap on eBay.
