Dunno if you guys know who that is...he's sort of famous because if you buy a guitar from him, it's mostly because of the 80 PLUS hi res pics he takes of every guitar he sells, plus he knows his stuff.

Anyway...call my boy Moses to get a setup time for the Charvel, he shoots me an address and I jump down there.....walk in the door and a bell rings...he pops out and says "cmon back" and I walked into this.

Apparently Moses is doing setups for him, as he should cause M does the best setups in SLC bar none.

Big pics are big:

Mochaburst Standard:

76(? we think) Norlin:

Some basses.....note that 5 string Ric 4th from the left:

THIS thing was COOL....'74, aluminum neck/headstock/walnut body:

Carbon fiber neck on a 90s Fender Jazz:

76 Fender, THE Geddy bass, different inlays:

5 string Ric....board/nut width is really thin:

Late 60s SG Custom:

Image

Mid 90s Parker:

Image

82 e2.....this thing SLAYED:

Image

2017 Mock.....not even remotely my favorite but this thing kicked ass and the versatility was off the fuckin charts:

Image

And one for Cole.....dude this thing is a late 70s, MIJ...weighs about 15lbs but no joke, sounds like the hammer of GOD.

Image

Anyway......once dude found out I was a gearhead work stopped immediately......we were running up and down stairs grabbing guitars and plugging into 2 full stacks......JVM410 and Orange Rockerverb.....cops showed up, beer, etc.....

Shit was a blast. Dude told me to come back anytime, cause his stock was less than half what it usually was........

Wow! But I want to actually see that Geddy bass. And the "Mock" is actually a "Bich" but aren't they all?

Damn, I love the SG Custom and the E2!!!! The LPs are cool too. I'd love to hang out at this shop

btw, the BC Rich is a Bich not a Mock. Still a great guitar though.

Good eye man....we were drinking and had no idea what the sig said lol

Fuckin 3 way toggle and all but the volume blocked and apparently it COMES LIKE THAT from the factory. I loved that thing, it was gaudy as fuck and awesome.

Fuck I knew I was gonna get some shit for the BCR stuff lol....just never been on my radar and couldn't remember the name.

They had a late '70s BCR that was weird.....had been refinished by GMW into a pearlescent white finish....top bout was rounded like a LP but bottom bout was sharper like an SG....'70s DiMarzios in it. Thing was pretty ugly and heavy as balls but sounded and played awesome. Was called a Seagull, but didn't get any pics.

Man, TB guitars are going for $5k+.... way out of my league.

Just checked Wikipedia... they didn't make too many... no wonder they're expensive!

TB1000A (Artist) - 755 produced
TB2000 (Standard Bass) - 1020 produced
TB3000 (Wedge) - 45 produced
TB4000 (Wedge Bass) - 36 produced

Dick's guitar was set up that way. He also pulled the knob off that first volume pot and cut the shaft back.
Always hated Strats because the knobs get in my way.

That is awesome dude!

Love it when things like this happen. I’ve been fortunate enough to walk into similar situations a few times in the past....it is always great to have an impromptu gear whore session.

Thanks for sharing!
