I finished off a new build tonight, and while I'm hard into the honeymoon phase right now, I can already say that this is the best guitar I've ever built.

MJT Thinline Body - All mahogany, Crown Royal Purple, double bound in white, lightly relic'ed
Dimarzio 36th Anni pickups
Wilkinson short bridge with compensated saddles
Warmoth neck - roasted flame maple with rosewood fretboard
Sperzel tuners

Only 2 things I'm unsure of right now. I don't love the volume jump between the bridge to the neck pickup. I have the neck sunk deep in there to balance out while the bridge is almost on the strings. Also I can't decide is whether to leave the bridge pickup direct mounted to the body or put a ring on in. Everything else is honestly perfect. It rings like a bell and sustains forever. It could not have come out better. Now brb gonna go play it more. :fap:

Did you get the Bridge model of the 36th? I had the set before and they balance well. Check the codes in the sticker at the bottom.

The guitar looks awesome!!!

That's fucking awesome

The only thing I can fault is the knob and switch are too close to each other for my testes

Devin, if you use your right hand to turn the knob / flick the switch, it's much easier than using your balls...

Love MJT's purple sparkle finish, looks great in the OP!!!

Thanks y’all!

Yeah! The sparkle is REALLY subtle. Not like a metal flake but just obvious enough to twinkle when the light hits it right.

I wanted the deluxe knobs real bad but I think I may switch them to something with a smaller footprint to space it better.

Yeah they’re a matched set. I like the sound out of both but there’s definitely something out of whack. I’m gonna check my wiring and make sure I didn’t do something weird to cut the signal in there.

But overall, love it.

Beautiful! Looks great man. I hope you get the volume issues between the pups worked out.
