Hey guys, I'm sure we have some Soldano fans here. We all know they're super expensive and if you can't afford one, Jet City is a great alternative to get that tone. They're designed by Mike himself. I just released my demo of their flagship amp, the 100HDM. I'd love to hear what you guys think!

I liked the lead tones in the full mix. I'll need to listen at home as the chorded and single note rhythm stuff was all pretty buzzy for me here at work.

Are you talking about the cleanish/crunchy section? If that's the case, if you watch further into the video, I talk about how there's technically no clean channel on the amp (it's just Crunch and Overdrive), but you can coax some cleaner sounds out of it. I'm just using a guitar with a high output JB in it, and this amp has some channel bleed issues.

No. The rhythm parts behind the lead and the single note stuff over the chunky rhythms. Starting from the slide in at the 2:10 mark and the single note pattern that starts at 2:20. I actually dug the rolled back crunchy clean. I agree at the end where you mentioned the lows are pretty tubby.

Lol I was just kidding. If I put the HDM in 50 watt mode we pretty much have the same exact amp. Also I don't have any money to pay for shipping

Is this the box? Or you get that somewhere else? That seems pretty awesome man. How many feet of the LED do you typically use for an amp?

Was also curious, is this the same exact amp that they have always had with just a different logo? The older vids I saw had a 333 Logo.

Same, these LEDS are stupid cheap. Even with that remote. Im gonna order too, LEDS are awesome. I just did not know you could get them to go with the music and am curious to see if that is the same box he mentioned.

The only amp I have seen to do that was the DAR and it looked killer the way it did that.

That is the remote controller for the box!

I use a "Y" splitter to run two strands of LED's in an amp. Depending on the width of the headshell I'll have two strands of about 20"-22" in length

Yes it is the same amp! The old 333 logo was phased out and people have been dying for it to come back ever since!

Nice Demo! Just ordered one mainly for being a louder version of my DSL20HR for gigging. Of course it will not sound exactly the same, but it seems to sound pleasant enough and it will go louder. My first choice would have been a DSL100HR, but this thing is exactly half the price and if it does the trick the better - I have high hopes but it's a risk we will see :)

Good call. That's a much better amp. I had the new DSL100HR for a while and I did not like it at all. Not as good as the older DSLs. The 20w is cool though.

Thanks, let's hope I did the right decision. Yes, the 20W sounds very good but has it's limits.

Change out the stock tubes if you didn't get the JJ upgrade.
