Flange = awesome. Garbly analog goodness. Does great chorusy sounds.
Trem = eh, not liking it. Doesn’t seem to easily do normal sounds. Asymmetrical sounding waves.
Ring mod = haven’t had a chance to try it.

Man I want almost all of those pedals. Hooke. Custom comp. troll. clone theory. Never heard of the Luxe but the demo sounds like the Cardigans.

Nice! Congrats Gene! Always wanted to try an Expandora and the Angry Troll (on name alone, at least). Metal Zones are eternally useful, no matter what anyone says. Curious how that Bassman pedal stacks up? Always wondered about that one :hmm:

Gatdamn son! :fap:

Aren't those Boss Fender pedals supposedly killer and skyrocketing in price now? Seems like I read that at least one of them is :hmm:

No way!

I had that '63 Spring Reverb for a few weeks. Did not care for it. It was a trebly mess with predictable computer-sounding splish splash noises. Looks like they're $200 on Ebay now.

Angry Troll is cool. It's like Chimy grit with a lot of volume on tap.

Expandora seemed cool when it worked. It didn't get a fair shot because it was fucked from the start. Very happy I got a refund.

Metal Zone. So yeah. This is pretty extreme. not really my cup of tea. Probably save this for when my son turns 10.

Bassman = badass. If you like what AIAB pedals do after fuzz and before time/modulation, this is for you. It does low and medium gain equally well. It looks cool. It doesn't sound digital. I REALLY like this.

damn that's a hell of a haul.

Will be interested in your thoughts on the ring modulator. Always dug those.

Geez. I thought I was crazy for buying a Danelectro Pepperoni Phaser and a Hardwire DL-8 this week. Buxom Boost was last month so that doesn't count.

Sweet haul. How're the Fairfields, Mr. Blacks, and the Contraband?

I have an original Expandora, it's pretty badass. Haven't used it in a while but with the DIP switches it was pretty flexible. I used to use it mainly on the "forbidden" setting for this really gnarly, gated fuzz. Although if you picked right it would sustain almost forever and then I'd boost it with a Tubescreamer for maximum mayhem, think like Neil Young, amp-melting down sound. Paired amazingly with my old Supro Thunderbolt too. This is making me want to break it back out this weekend. :hmm:
