Thank you for taking the time to read the forum rules. The main purpose of this forum is to create a community of musicians and music gear enthusiasts to exchange ideas, experiences and valuable information about the gear and music we love. But aside from our gear discussions, we also believe this forum is a good way to make new friends, discuss current events not necessarily related to music and just have a good time while interacting with the other members. We are not uptight here and the goal with the rules below is to create an environment that is fun, relaxed and yet respectful, safe and informative.
Thank you for joining the forum and hope you feel right at home here!
1- No pornography/nudity/partial nudity/see-through clothing allowed on posts or Avatars. No pictures or files taken from a porn site even if they don’t contain nudity or are being hosted by you. No gross pics or videos of gore, mutilation, bodily parts or fluids etc etc
2- You are responsible for everything you post here, text, music, pictures etc… if you don’t own the rights to post it, don’t. Links to or mention of torrent sites or sites with counterfeit products are not allowed. Threads about any illegal activity including drug usage are not allowed. Making false allegations about another user or a music group or vendor is not allowed. While we do not fact check posts, you are expected to be truthful in all your posts and solely responsible for any misrepresentations.
3- No trolling, alts, flame wars, derogatory slurs, racism, bigotry, fighting, swearing in thread titles or user names, personal attacks or any other negative/toxic behavior. We understand some arguments can get pretty heated, but please be respectful and address the topic, not the user. This is at the mods/admin sole discretion. If you have any questions on certain behaviors/attitudes or have an issue with another member , report it to a mod/admin before you act or reply.
4- Companies reps or any other professionals must identify themselves clearly and are not allowed to advertise under any circumstances. They are allowed to answer questions and provide information about their products but should also participate in general discussions etc... professionals that come here for the sole purpose of advertisement will be removed.
5- Please direct any complaint about the forum functionality, users or mods to the admin via PM only. “Complaint/protest threads/posts” will be closed or removed and bans may apply.
6- There is a limit of 5000 posts per thread. At that point the thread will be locked. You may create a part 2 and continue on with the discussion. This is to avoid threads from getting too heavy on the database.
Failure to comply with these rules can result in posts/thread locks and/or removals or user ban, either permanent or temporary, at the mod or admin discretion. Mods have the right to remove or alter content at any time without warning or justification. Failure to read the above rules will not excuse you should you break one of the said rules. These rules are subject to change without notice, so please check them regularly.
